ANDPVA, The Association for Native Development in the Performing and Visual Arts will be hosting a members feast for ANDPVA members, December 18th, 2011. This event will take place at the Toronto Free Gallery, 1277 Bloor Street West, Toronto. ANDPVA is Canada's oldest Indigenous arts service organization, located in Toronto. We support Indigenous artists/creators and producers that are working in any discipline through networking, promotion, workshops, training, and partnerships. We also work for increased access to the arts sector for artists through policy development and advocacy. The knowledge of Indigenous arts and artists are increased by our publications, arts resource library, Indigenous Arts Network online, and ongoing research. We are currently inviting community members to donate frozen turkeys and toys to ANDPVA. Frozen turkeys will be accepted one day only, December 18th, 2011 at Toronto Free Gallery. New toys or monetary donations towards toys and turkeys will be accepted from November 7th-December 17th, 2011 at the ANDPVA office, 601 Christie Street, studio 171 in Toronto. Items can also be donated and brought to the event on December 18th. Charitable tax receipts will be given to anyone who donates during the drive. We will be giving out these items to families within our membership. ANDPVA is also looking for donations towards the feast. (Wild meats, vegetables, potatoes, etc) Thank you for your support. • I just wanted to thank ANDPVA for the opportunity you gave me to showcase my crafts and jewelllery at the Saturday Market. I met some really great people, especially other artists and made some new friends. Keep up the good work! Emilie Corbiere
